Macarons are one of the most prettiest and delectable desserts we\u2019ve ever experienced. They are dainty, colorful, and delicious. Macarons are an extra special treat because they are considered a fancy French dessert that tends to be costly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macarons are often found on the dessert table of special events. So it\u2019s great to have at a bridal shower or even a wedding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a downside to this beautiful little sandwich. They tend to be very funny acting if you don\u2019t get the steps to make them correct. They are, some would say, very difficult to make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why should you use a printable macaron template?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Are you about to bake some macarons for a birthday party? Or maybe you want to make some fresh macarons for a special occasion or event? Then use a template! It serves as a guide for measuring the perfect size macaron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A macaron template will not only help you bake some fresh macarons but will help make them the same dimension so that when they’re put together they match up. This is a trick that beginners or experts could use to control how they distribute the batter on the pan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Templates are great to use before you bake the macarons because the areas on the template are spaced out. There will be enough room for the macarons to rise and expand and they won’t get stuck together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some materials to use alongside this printable are obviously a baking sheet, piping bag, and nozzle. The best size nozzle for 1.5 or 2-inch macarons is 0.25 piping tips<\/a>. You will also need some parchment paper for the actual batter and for the printable to go underneath it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also silicone mats<\/a> that could help make the macarons come out perfect. The main thing is to have a foundation (baking sheet), a visual guide (template) to keep you focused, and a barrier between the visual guide and the piping bag (parchment paper).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These printables are PDF files. And the measurement of the images is true to size. All you have to is click the image<\/strong> to view the media file, then go to the upper right corner of the page to print.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now let’s look at the different templates…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.5 Inch Macaron template<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you are looking for a basic template ideal for a regular-size macaron, then this would be the best template to use. We love this template idea for a small family who wants a dessert. This printable has space for 12 macarons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The target “+” is where you would start piping the batter round and round until you’ve reached the first line of the circle. With this size and with a 0.25″ piping nozzle, it should take 1.5 or 2 swirls of piping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Inch Macaron Template<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A 2-inch macaron template is a great tool to use for special events and occasions. Since they are slightly larger, they look great as a macaron tower<\/a> or in gift boxes<\/a>. These are popular at bridal showers and other formal events because they look more formal than cupcakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heart shaped printable macaron template<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

How exactly do you hide a heart-shaped macaron? We\u2019ve got the process for this step-by-step. Using a medium tip gently squeeze a dollop of macaroon batter in the upper round corner of the heart. We have marked this area on the first heart of our template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pipe steadily on a slant while decreasing the amount of pressure as you move further down. There is an arrow to indicate the stopping point on the heart. Know that if the batter doesn\u2019t fill up the entire space you should leave it because it will be spread in a future step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
