Ever thought of throwing a luxurious peacock bridal shower? I have been fond of peacocks and was thinking… How could I throw a peacock party? This thought came from beautiful photos I came across on Flickr. I think a peacock bridal shower is possible if there are enough colors and feathers to have for decorations. But how could we incorporate these things in a peacock bridal shower?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peacocks are large, colorful pheasants (typically blue and green) known for their lustrous tails (National Geographic)<\/a>. The colorful feathers are found in males and they flaunt them when it is time to mate. I think this is related to a wedding because basically when the peacock falls “in love,” they sport off the beautiful tails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the peacock is a male, they are thought to be feminine creatures because of their design. The rich colors and beautiful feathers are great decor for parties and would look great at a bridal shower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have always been infatuated with peacocks. The colors, feathers and the allure that they bring. They are mysterious, yet festive. The vibrant blue, purple and green make a wonderful color scheme for a bridal shower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The peacock’s long train of feathers reminds me of the back of a bride’s dress or her view. It a peacock theme is perfect for a wedding event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to talk about a peacock theme because I think it is a hidden gem to be discovered by a future bridal shower host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since it is almost Autumn, I think that this is the perfect time to explain this fabulous bridal shower theme. That way you will know everything way before it is time to get started. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think a peacock bridal shower is great for any time of year. but I thin the peak times for this theme is in the spring and the summer. just because the bright colors will look great on a bright sunny day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best time of day for any bridal shower would be during the day. Preferably late morning or early afternoon this would be the same for a peacock bridal shower. that way it is not late to eat and not too early to drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are some great places to host a peacock bridal shower, it could be a venue, restaurant or at your house. Either way, the peacock decoration will have the place looking glamorous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to have a beautiful peacock bridal shower you should use the colors to your advantage. Use the vibrant teal and blue in the decorations. Take advantage of the lovely eyespots on feathers and use them as part of the table decorations or even the bride’s outfit. Have peacocks on the invitations and thank you cards. Have the colors and design on or around the food and dessert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You could also use the peacock theme for the gifts and favors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are some nice invitation styles on Etsy<\/a>. They have styles for a bridal luncheon. There are elegant designs on lighter and darker backgrounds. There are even cute invitations with a bride holding a bouquet of peacock feathers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teal and purple linens make nice decor for the tables and chairs. I like the details of this table because it has vibrant purple flowers and a single peacock feather<\/a> in the center of the plate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peacock decorations look great with rhinestones. I like the beautiful napkin holder wrapped around the blue cloth. The rhinestones make the color pop. The glittery satin table cloth runner <\/a>is stylish is cute on top of the cream color table cloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The blue cloth is draped in pretty bows around each chair. I like this because you do not have to over do it. Once you decoration the tables and chairs for a peacock, bridal shower, you do not need to many more decoration elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gold plates and silverware is a nice accent to the peacock colors. Gold adds to the look the party and will make the bride feel even more special during this event. he guests will love the time and detail of the table ware as well. There are even ways to bring elements of the peacock to the dessert table. I like that there are peacock figurines by the cupcakes, I think that it really makes a statement. And the glitter on the peacock makes it even better!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cupcakes have little plastic feathers on the top. There could also be a peacock design on the cake for the bridal shower. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The macaroons and other desserts could be the colors of the peacock. For example, there could be blue and purple cotton candy and peacock colored lollipops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
